About me
During my early working years, I was involved in print production and marketing. In 2005, along with my wife Angie, I founded St Jude’s, inspired by a shared interest in the area where art and commercial design meet. Our initial aim was to launch a small range of fabrics Angie had designed and this led to the opening of a gallery specialising in British printmaking.
Angie and I relocated to Edinburgh in 2012, and switched from our previous gallery activity to staging events at venues across the UK, including The Bankside Gallery (next to Tate Modern), The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
In 2017, a growing interest in ceramics prompted me to start creating my own. After spending much of my career working in two dimensions on a computer screen I initially imagined I would spend most of my time working at a potter's wheel, but I'm enjoying working with a variety of ceramic making processes.
